United Housing Assistance and Art Society, Inc. provides rental assistance and rapid rehousing support for individuals and families facing housing instability. Our goal is to prevent homelessness, stabilize households quickly, and create a clear path toward long-term housing independence.

We provide short-term support to help you stay housed or quickly secure stable housing.

This program may include:

  • Rental assistance

  • Move-in cost support

  • Housing placement help

  • Short-term stabilization support

 

The objective is to help households move from instability to self-sufficiency as efficiently as possible.

You may qualify if you:

  • Are facing eviction or housing loss

  • Recently became homeless

  • Need help with move-in costs

  • Need short-term rental assistance

  • Have income but need stabilization support

Assistance is based on eligibility, available funding, and housing capacity.

What Assistance May Include

First Month’s Rent

Direct financial assistance for the initial month of a new lease to help you secure a stable home.

Security Deposit

Support in covering the necessary upfront costs required to secure your unit and move in quickly.

Short-Term Support

Ongoing rental support for up to 3 months when available, providing breathing room for families.

Utility Assistance

Help with essential utility costs to ensure a safe and stabilized housing environment for all.

Placement Coordination

Personalized help finding and securing a unit that fits your needs and income level.

Housing Stabilization Planning

Comprehensive planning and guidance to help you maintain self-sufficiency for years to come.
