United Housing Assistance and Art Society, Inc. provides critical assistance to individuals and families throughout Central Florida. Our programs are designed to move households from temporary crisis to long-term stabilization through a combination of housing placement, financial support, and community services.

Please note: All assistance is strictly subject to eligibility requirements, available funding, and current program capacity. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or placement.

Emergency & Transitional Housing

Short-term housing placement. Best for:

  • Homeless individuals or families

  • Individuals in immediate danger

  • Households without current shelter

Rental Assistance & Rapid Rehousing

Prevention of eviction and coordination. Best for:

  • Past due rent households

  • Individuals with eviction notices

  • At-risk of homelessness

Homebuyer Education & Down Payment Assistance Guidance

Reference and referral guidance. Best for:

  • First-time homebuyers

  • Low-to-moderate income earners

  • Potential buyers seeking education

Veteran Housing Support

Coordination for those who served. Best for:

  • Veterans

  • Active service members

  • Veteran families

Domestic Violence Housing Support

Support for survivors. Safety Note: If in danger call 911. Best for:

  • Survivors of domestic violence

  • Households fleeing unsafe situations

  • Those needing safety planning

Supportive Services & Community Programs

Case management and resource coordination. Best for:

  • Ongoing stability planning

  • Specialized referrals

  • Community program connection

  • Complete Information: Ensure your full name and contact information are accurate to prevent processing delays.

  • Required Documentation: Please have soft copies of your ID, proof of income, and current lease/eviction notices ready.

  • Review Period: Intake requests are reviewed within 3-5 business days. You will be contacted via email or phone.

  • Confidentiality: Your information is protected under our strict privacy guidelines and used solely for evaluation.

  • No Guarantee of Funding: Submission is for intake purposes and does not guarantee financial provision.

  • Geographic Area: We primarily serve residents throughout the Central Florida region.

  • Accurate Details: Providing false information may lead to permanent disqualification from all programs.
